Oh come, and worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker
Traditional Services – Saturday 5:30 pm & Sunday 8:00 am
We provide traditional worship services at 5:30 pm. on Saturday and 8:00 am. on Sunday. Generally we use the Orders of worship from the Lutheran Service Book. Music Director Jan Arneson serves as the organist, and we sing all verses of hymns from the hymnal. One of our Trinity choirs (Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, School, Sunday School or Handbell) provides Anthems and Offertory Music. On special days brass, woodwind or string instrumentalists add to our music ministry. Pastors and Acolytes wear vestments. The congregation sings the Responses and stands for the reading of the Gospel. Trinity employs the three-year series of readings schedule. We serve the Lord’s Supper at the Communion rail. We offer both the common cup as well as individual cups. Our service would be a familiar experience to members of the Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod.
Contemporary Service – Sunday 10:30 am
We offer a contemporary worship service at 10:30 on Sunday morning. The service follows the LCMS Creative Worship order. You will find the elements of the invocation, confession and forgiveness, prayer, offering, creeds, words of institution and benediction. Music is provided by the Celebration Band and Choir. The music includes newer compositions with a few older hymns added occasionally. The readings and sermon are the same as the traditional service. The Lord’s Supper is served in line at the front of the church. We offer both the common cup and individual cups. The music is modern and the setting is less formal. Our pastors clearly proclaim the message of Law and Gospel.
