From the Principal
At Trinity Lutheran School our ministry is to join together with parents to educate their children. As scripture states, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6.
Our faculty of teachers are certified to educate students in all academic subjects. They bring our curriculum to life as students learn about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the amazing world He has created. Our students develop their God given gifts and talents in a loving, safe, and well-rounded environment. I invite you and your children to visit us and see what this Christ-centered education at Trinity Lutheran School can provide.
Mr. Wes Jones, Principal
Early Childhood Opportunities (Ages 2 – 5)
The goal of Trinity Lutheran Early Childhood classes is to provide a rich and positive Christian environment that promotes each child’s physical, emotional, intellectual, social, cultural and moral growth. We also support and strengthen our families as the most important influence in a child’s life.
We welcome children beginning at age two and older to grow in faith and learning in a loving and affordable atmosphere. If you have questions about the Early Childhood Program at Trinity Lutheran Ministries, please contact principal Wes Jones or the School Office.
Elementary School: Grades Kindergarten – 5
Trinity Lutheran School is committed to providing an excellent education for each child. In the elementary grades, the children are learning the routines of school. They are growing in their faith-walks, in their academic skills, and learning how to be good stewards of their time, energy and talents. Our certified, experienced teacher work together with parents to develop the talents and abilities that God has given to each child. The teachers are encouragers and facilitators of the students’ growth. The teachers communicate with parents with weekly classroom notes. Teachers and parents also have frequent conversations regarding the progress of their students.
The elementary classrooms are self-contained for the core subjects. Our average class size is 15 students which allows our teachers to provide individualized instruction. Parents are involved in our program in many ways. From parent readers to field trip chaperones to library workers to lunchroom volunteers to classroom helpers, there are unlimited ways for parents to help in the educational environment of their children.
It is during the middle school years that young people develop their commitment to learning and discover what it means to be responsible, independent students. It takes love, dedication, and understanding to help these students as they change spiritually, academically, emotionally, and socially. We showcase a strong Lutheran Christian staff that is dedicated to the students and their families, and each teacher is passionate about helping students understand this gift and how to share it.
We understand that middle school is not only about getting a great education; it is also about learning life skills. We have created a program that allows for a diverse group of students to come together in a Christian atmosphere to grow and learn. The program provides a unique transitional experience that bridges the gap from the lower elementary grades and self-contained classrooms to the departmentalized classroom making for a smooth transition to the high school environment.
