Safe In His Care

Building a Secure and Welcoming Entrance For All

Through this campaign, we seek to create a space that welcomes all and keeps the most vulnerable—of every generation—Safe In His Care.

Building for the Future

Our Mission at Trinity Lutheran Ministries

For more than a century, Trinity Lutheran Ministries has served Madison County as a Christ-centered community. Rooted in the Gospel, we provide a church, school, and daycare where children and families grow in faith and knowledge. As we look ahead, our mission remains the same: to create a safe, accessible, and welcoming campus where the Word of God is at the heart of everything we do.

A Safe and Secure School Entrance

Renovations will provide peace of mind for families and improved functionality for students, staff, and visitors.

An Accessible Campus for All

A new ramp connecting the church and school will remove barriers and ensure everyone feels welcome.

A Shared Commitment

This plan can only succeed with the prayers, time, and support of our church members and school families.

Our Project Goals

A safe and secure main entrance to the school featuring a welcoming and more spacious lobby.

Fully integrated, user-friendly ADA accessible route between the School and Church.

Remodeling and renovating the church/school office to integrate “best practices” in school safety and security and improve functionality between the new entrance/vestibule and the existing church/school offices.

Building Together in Faith

Our Ministry Campaign

This campaign is more than a building project—it is a ministry-wide effort uniting our entire Trinity family. Through prayer, financial generosity, and the gift of time, we seek to create a campus that is safer, more accessible, and welcoming for all. Every contribution matters, whether given weekly, monthly, as a one-time gift, or through other resources such as retirement distributions or stock. Together, by God’s grace, we remain Safe in His Care.

Our Shared Journey of Generosity

Every gift, large or small, moves us closer to creating a safer, more welcoming campus for all who enter.

What You Need to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

For 125 years, Trinity’s leaders have faithfully expanded the ministry through new churches, a school, and a daycare. Now, as we look ahead, we have the opportunity to build on that foundation by creating a campus that is safe, welcoming, and inclusive for all. Planned updates include a redesigned school entrance with improved safety for children, staff, and families, along with a new accessibility ramp connecting the church and school so that everyone, at every stage of life, can fully participate in Trinity’s ministry.

While the construction for this project will be completed in multiple months, we have dedicated this period of three years to complete the fundraising campaign. This timeframe allows us to not over-extend our finances and responsibly raise the necessary resources to successfully complete this campaign.

The easiest way to support this campaign is to keep Trinity, its leaders, and this effort in your prayers. In addition to prayer, there are several volunteer roles that are needed to ensure this campaign is successful. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Jason Volle, Adam Born, or Pastor Shank.

This project, which involves the creation of a new and welcoming entrance, will necessitate temporary modifications to access for both the church and school. We are committed to minimizing disruptions to daily operations while ensuring safe passage to the facilities. A detailed construction logistics plan outlining access routes and temporary modifications will be finalized in advance and communicated to all stakeholders.

The renovation of the church and school offices will be substantially completed by the start of the 2026-27 school year. The projected completion of the school entrance and the ramp between the church and school is December 2026

We have made safety a priority in our evaluation of the proposals from the contractors, examining their past performance on similar occupied projects, safety records, and proposed site specific safety program. The construction area will be a restricted access area secured by appropriate fencing as well as a dedicated contractor material storage area and parking. The contractor will work in close coordination with our staff daily to ensure any safety concerns are addressed.
